In this post, I share a video put out by Lewis Howes(author of “Make Money Easy“).
One of the biggest money mistakes that keeps people broke is spending first and saving whatever is left over.
You get paid.
You pay the bills.

You spend on your wants.
You upgrade your lifestyle.
And then you hope there’s something left to save or invest.
Usually, there isn’t.
The problem is that lifestyle tends to expand to consume whatever money is available.
Instead, pay yourself first.
When the money comes in, immediately set aside a portion for savings and investing. Then live on what remains.
Don’t save what’s left after spending.
Spend what’s left after saving.
Your future financial freedom is built with the money you choose not to spend today.
Make saving and investing a priority—not an afterthought.
Watch the Lewis Howes video below to get some insights on how to play the money game to win and not to lose.
I hope you’ve gotten value from this post. Leave a comment below on what your biggest takeaway has been. I can’t wait to read your thoughts.
Go out today and make life an adventure.
